This time Niajo has chosen the Basque Country to celebrate the next Spanish gastronomic event.

The Basque region, located at the north of Spain, is facing the Cantabric Sea, giving its people high quality fish. The orchard in that region is also very rich thanks to the location and climate characteristics. People from Basque region are food lovers, which has led them have a high level cuisine since hundreds years ago.

Enjoy this four course menu paired with four outstanding Spanish wines supplied by DSWines, ASC and Taste Spain for 498 RMB.

“Pinchos”:
Chupito de guisantes con tomate cherry deshidratado en polvo
y lágrimas de jamón ibérico de bellota 5J

Shotglass of peas with dried cherry tomato powder
and slices of 5J Iberian acorn-fed ham
Croqueta de bacalao con alioli de hierbas
Codfish croquette with herbs alioli
Tartaleta de txangurro
Txangurro crab tartlet
Wine: Almendros (Chardonnay, Riesling, Verdejo. D.O. Valencia)

Pimientos del piquillo de Tolosa rellenos de manitas de cerdo
guisadas con setas y salsa vizcaína

“Piquillo” Spanish red peppers stuffed with pork trotters
stewed with mushrooms and Biscay sauce
Wine: Casar Godello (Godello. D.O. Bierzo)

Bacalao español al pilpil
Imported Spanish cod fish cooked in the Basque style
Wine: Gago (Tempranillo. D.O. Toro)

Tarta de queso, chocolate y arándanos
Cheese, chocolate and blueberries cake (made with Sinodis products)
Wine: Parxet Cuvee 21 (Macabeo, Parellada, Pansa Blanca. D.O. Cava)
